Using Vaporeon in battle

Most Used Vaporeon Set: Wish, protect, hp electric and surf get my vote, vaporeon serves as an excellent counter to gyarados, not only that but it’s one of the best wish passers in the game, and it can also prove to be assisting with it’s water “immunity”.

Usual Counters: Like all bulky water types, vaporeon won’t enjoy the use of grass and electric types, especially things like raikou, jolteon, electivire etc, furthermore, vapy runs hp electric to be able to counter gyarados, and as such, it won’t run ice beam, meaning it is totally walled by grass types, who are resistant to both it’s attacking moves once it runs hp electric, ofcourse.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: If it decides to run ice beam for those grass types, then it can’t counter gyarados, and as such, it won’t be as effective, so unless you got another counter for gyara, you should just stick with hp electric since it lets vaporeon be used at its full potential, a specs set might also work, since with vapy’s base 110 sp.atk, it can really hurt a lot of things.

Vaporeon Is Most Used On: Once you see a vapy you can draw things, first you can know that your opponent is weak to gyara, and as such, if you want to pull of a successful gyara sweep, you should weaken or take out vaporeon, furthermore, the second thing you can draw is that the opponents team needs wish since it obviously doesn’t have recovery, so use this newly gained knowledge.
