Using Scizor in battle

Most Used Scizor Set: A set running, bullet punch, x-scissor, roost and sword dance and holding lo, is one of the most effective sets in the game, scizor basically after a sd, will 2hko a gliscor with a lo sd double stab bullet punch.

Usual Counters: Heatran basically is resistant to every scizor’s moves, except well brick break, but brick break is being used less and less, and is only a 2hko while heatran ohkoes and is obviously faster since it has higher base speed, furthermore, skarmory can effectively counter scizor, since it can whirlwind any stat boosts out, and doesn’t fear anything from scizor, although if scizor is the last pokemon on the team, meaning it can’t be phased out, then skarmory will have problems, since it basically can set up 3 sds, and 2hko skarmory with a +6 atk double stab lo nve bullet punch.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: It can’t really do anything to heatran, unless you decide to run the most gimmick set of almost all pokes, which is a specs hp ground scizor, but that is so gimmicky that it sucks and will be useless and basically is always dead weight.

Scizor Is Most Used On: And offensive team, scizor is one of the most used pokes, thanks to double stab bullet punch, which will really hurt anything, not only that but it basically 2hkoes everything with a double stab, lo sd bullet punch, except ofcourse, heatran and skarmory.
